7 Strangers for Tea

In today’s fast-paced world, human connection has become more elusive than ever. With the rise of digital technology and our increasingly busy lifestyles, we find ourselves lonelier and more disconnected from one another. According to a study by the American Psychological Association, the modern age is witnessing an unprecedented spike in feelings of loneliness and isolation, with many attributing this trend to our reliance on digital communication at the expense of face-to-face interaction.

With the understanding that community is an antidote to this isolation, Northbound Mind + Body Shop introduces “7 Strangers for Tea.” In this 1-hour event, 7 people previously unknown to one another, can come together to enjoy a free cup of tea and the pleasure of authentic conversation.

At Northbound Mind + Body Shop, our core belief is in the nurturing power of community. In bringing individuals together, we aim to foster genuine connections and maybe a few new friendships.

Event Details:

• Venue: Northbound Mind + Body Shop.
• Offer: Complimentary tea for all attendees.
• Limit: The event is limited to 7 individuals to ensure an intimate setting conducive for connective conversations. We kindly request that attendees sign up for only one event per quarter. This ensures that as many unique individuals as possible get a chance to experience the warmth of “7 Strangers for Tea.”
• Age: We welcome multigenerational conversation and connection; the event is open to those 18 and older.  Look out for a teen version coming soon!
