Edible Seed Swap
March 2, 2024 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free
Join us for a community-building edible plant + produce seed swap before the 2024 growing season! We’ll be sharing the mission of the Food Is Free project and connecting the community.
While this is a free event, we do encourage you to register via RSVP.
Show up: The event begins promptly at 2 PM and will be an hour long.
Bring seeds for edible plants or produce: This can be in the form of vegetables, fruits, or herbs.
Swap: Exchange edible plants + produce seeds with community members and get to know each other.
Learn About Food Is Free: Take a flier and learn about the Food Is Free project’s mission.
Some things to consider…
- Would you eat/plant what you are exchanging at the event?
- How can edible gardens facilitate community building?
- Do you enjoy sharing your garden with neighbors?
Hearbeet Gardenscapes owner, Christalle Twomey, has been a Food Is Free ambassador for four years and enjoys sharing the movement’s mission with her community to foster connection through edible gardenscapes.
