Flowing with Grief Workshop

$30.00Join Kelsey Sawyer of Riverbend Grief Movement to connect with your body and your grief through movement, breath, and meditation practices. During this workshop, participants will engage in a gentle movement experience to process and release feelings of grief that are held in the body, and reflect on their experience through journaling and connection with one another. The intention behind this workshop is to provide a place to explore the grief process in a more embodied way, make space to tend to our grief, and connect with others who are grieving.
- No previous yoga experience required.
- Please bring a yoga mat, journal/notebook, and something to write with.
- Participants are invited to bring whatever additional props will make them most comfortable ie. blanket, bolster or pillow, blocks etc. Loose fitted clothing is suggested.
- All participants must sign the Flowing with Grief Waiver

Kelsey Sawyer MA, BC-DMT, RYT-200, Certified Grief Yoga® Teacher
Kelsey is a Board Certified Dance Movement Therapist and Yoga Teacher who specializes in grief. Growing up as a dancer, Kelsey realized how healing dance and movement could be at a young age, after experiencing multiple death’s of influential people in her life. This led Kelsey on a path to opening Riverbend Grief Movement to not only integrate these losses herself, but connect with and support others who are grieving in a more embodied way.
