Mindful Makers: February Self-love Focus
February 9, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free – $440.00Join the Mindful Makers this February with a focus on self-love. Young artists will reflect on all of the roles they have and what makes them good at those things. They will create artwork that celebrates and shares what they love about themselves.
All lessons are created to engage the 7 C’s of Resilience in Children. As teachers and parents – we hope to instill resilience in our children to build character strengths and personal connection to help them stay balanced in a world of ups and downs.
Each session is limited to 10 makers (ages 6 and up) for personal attention and to keep a small calming environment. If the session is sold out, you can get on the waiting list for a possible second session that day by emailing kathleen.ehrlich@hotmail.com.
The Mindful Makers, Maureen Coleman and Kathleen Ehrlich, are NYS certified art teachers in ESM’s school district. With a combined experience of 15+ years, they have designed these classes with a focus on mindfulness to ensure positive experiences with making, creating, and healing.
With a limited number of spots, all sales are final, but you may transfer your registration to someone else. We offer one free scholarship spot for all events, for those in financial need, no questions asked. Just grab the free scholarship spot ticket if available.
We ask that you please arrive to all events a few minutes before the start time to ensure we can start promptly. If you are new to Northbound Mind + Body Shop, using 118 North St works better for navigation. We look forward to welcoming you into the space!
“Mindfulness is observing our thoughts without being taken over by them, empowering us to choose wise responses. Mindfulness in art is being in a state of calm flow; recognizing breath, thoughts, sensations, and emotions all while creating.” -The Mindful Makers
