Mindful Makers: June Connection Focus (Father Figures)
June 8, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free – $75.00We have a special edition of the Mindful Makers in honor of Father’s Day!
June’s Mindful Make is all about connection & paternal love. While dads in our lives come in all different forms – the recognition and appreciation they deserve is the same.
This special session allows 2 makers to collaborate on a shared artwork together that reflects on the special bond and experience between parents and children. The makers that sign up can be in any configuration – Father/Child, Grandfather/Grandchild, Siblings, etc. By the end of the session, they will have created a completely unique, personal, handmade artwork that celebrates the love they share.
You only need to purchase one ticket, which is good for both makers.
If the session is sold out, you can get on the waiting list for a possible second session that day by emailing kathleen.ehrlich@hotmail.com.
The Mindful Makers, Maureen Coleman and Kathleen Ehrlich, are NYS certified art teachers in ESM’s school district. With a combined experience of 15+ years, they have designed these classes with a focus on mindfulness to ensure positive experiences with making, creating, and healing.
With a limited number of spots, all sales are final, but you may transfer your registration to someone else. We offer one free scholarship spot for all events, for those in financial need, no questions asked. Just grab the free scholarship spot ticket if available.
We ask that you please arrive to all events a few minutes before the start time to ensure we can start promptly. If you are new to Northbound Mind + Body Shop, using 118 North St works better for navigation. We look forward to welcoming you into the space!
“Mindfulness is observing our thoughts without being taken over by them, empowering us to choose wise responses. Mindfulness in art is being in a state of calm flow; recognizing breath, thoughts, sensations, and emotions all while creating.” -The Mindful Makers
